Product Description

Details

World famous Gunpowder derives its name from the Chinese word “Zhucha” meaning Pearl Tea, referring to the tightly rolled shape of the leaves. Early European tea importers renamed this tea because of its similar shape to gunpowder pellets. Today, this tea is the most common green tea in the world. The brew has a rich, roasted, slightly smoky aroma with a sweet vegetal flavor and a satisfying astringency.

Rooibos Herbal Tea

Rooibos (Afrikaans for Red Bush) is an herb found only in the Cedarberg Mountain region of South Africa. It is a member of the legume family of plants (Aspalathus linearis) with bright green, needle-like leaves that turn red upon processing. Brewed rooibos has a distinctive red color and is subtly sweet by nature, with an earthy, honey flavor. Easy to drink hot or iced.
