Golden Milk Oolong is also referred to as a “true cream oolong”. It is free from flavoring agents and artificial ingredients. This tea is a rarity; it cannot be made every year. The cultivar produces more creamy flavors when grown at warmer, lower elevations, but it takes a cold evening to bring out the sugars in the leaf, followed by a warm morning that enhance the creamy notes. The flavor is reminiscent of milk and honey with a light and refreshing body.

Licorice Root Herbal Tea

In Sanskrit, it is called “Malathi” or “sweet stalk”. The Greeks named it “sweet root” and the Chinese call it “gan cao”, which means “sweet grass”. The intense sweetness can be traced to glycyrrhizic acid that is 50 times sweeter than sugar. Besides its use to flavor candy and medicines it is commonly used for its anti-inflammatory actions in digestion as well as for arthritis. The aroma and flavor is sweet and comforting, reminiscent of anise or fennel, but considerably stronger.
