Jungjak is considered high grade specialty tea, though slightly more mature than the tea used in Sejak. Jungjak leaves will typically have one or two opened tea leaves. Although less subtle than the Sejak, Jungjak is certainly complex in flavor. Due to the production method involving hot water, steam, and an extremely hot pan frying, a simplified explanation of flavor would be in between Chinese and Japanese green teas, although that would be denying them there own identity, which they most certainly have. Lively and flavorful, the brew is sweet and grainy, with a smooth finish.

Glenburn Autumn Crescendo Black Tea

Glenburn Autumn Cresendo is the last tea plucked for black tea production in the season. Harvested in November from select clonal fields, the brew has a coppery color said to be reminiscent of the sun on the snows of Mount Kanchenjunga, the shadow of which it’s made. The flavor is full-bodied yet mellow, with a long lasting finish, both malty and floral.
