This aged white tea is definitely one for the ages! Get it? Ages. Because it's an aged tea. Made from May 2013 shou mei grade white tea from Fuding, Fujian province. This tea was aged loose leaf for 2 years in Fuding and additional 3 in Kunming before eventually being pressed into a cake which is more commonly associated with pu-er or dark tea. The flavor is sweet and has definitive notes of honey, wet hay, and barley. A distinct morning dew note typically associated with Fujian white tea and a rich full body which is complimented by just the slightest touch of astringency at the end. As with any aged food product this tea won't be around forever, so get yours today!
