Black

Black Tea is a full-bodied tea with a coppery red to dark orange-black brew. Black tea production involves the control of a series of chemical reactions in the leaf to create its appearance, taste and aroma. After withering, the rolling process releases the internal juices within the leaf to start oxidation. When the leaves have finished oxidizing, they are then gently dried to extract the last bits of moisture. Complete oxidation of the leaf gives black tea its distinctive, characteristic flavors and aromas.

Loose leaf tea is sold by the ounce. If you want more than one ounce, simply increase the number.
